Dementia Friendly Decorating

I have decorated for a few customers who have had early onset dementia. Communication with family members and any carers that are enlisted to help out their loved ones is of key importance. As well as making sure the customer is happy for me be there too. I always ensure I communicate with them, explaining what I will be doing each day, making sure it is done in a soft and caring manner, with a friendly face so they are feel comfortable with me being in their home.
